Whether they involve “screeching in” or just lively music and fun with friends, kitchen parties are a well-loved Atlantic Canada tradition, and this experience will be on offer in Calgary this fall.
Downtown Calgary’s CRAFT Beer Market will be bringing a taste of the east to the western provinces when it serves as the venue for an East Coast Kitchen Party. The function has been organized as a fundraiser for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation.
The celebration will kick off with live music, and the seafood station will then open. This will be serving up raw oysters, crab, shrimp and mussels, and the poutine station will open soon afterwards. This will include cheese curds and not just mozzarella shreds, and there will also be Halifax style donairs followed by servings of moon mist ice cream served in goblet style cones. While the official end time is 11:30 pm, as is the case with most Atlantic Canadian kitchen parties, the fun will keep on going well past midnight.
Parties, mixers and other gatherings that are organized around a central theme may benefit from the services of a printing company’s graphic design team. They can prepare suitable decor as well as a variety of other materials.
