A makers market offers the public a chance to purchase unique gifts while supporting local artisans and other small businesses, and one of these events is being organized by the Bowness Community Association (BCA).
Many vendors have signed on to be part of the Calgary Bowness Holiday Craft Fair, and it will provide two days of browsing and buying. Those who stop by will be able to get a head start on purchasing presents for the holidays, and there will be options for almost every budget.
While the shoppers browse through the items on offer, they can meet the makers and crafters, learning more about their creative processes. They may even be able to accept custom orders, and a portion of the monies raised will be utilized by the BCA to help fund an assortment of community programming and other initiatives. Admission is free, and no pre-registration is needed.
Along with doing some shopping, the attendees at the function will be able to purchase food and drinks, and a raffle is also in the works Any vendors that plan on being part of a pop-up holiday market like this can count on local printing services to make sure they have order Forms, Packaging supplies and other items for the occasion.
