A makers’ market gives the public an opportunity to purchase unique items while supporting local crafters, and this summer, a series of these events is set to welcome Calgary shoppers.
The Marda Loop YYC MADE Summer Solstice Outdoor Market will take place outdoors, and it will kick off a series of pop-up retail experiences. A production of the Opulence Alliance Events, the markets are being hosted thanks to support from the Marda Loop Community Association.
Those who attend one of these functions will be treated to a wide selection of handmade items, and there will be more than 80 tents to browse through. Along with this, there will be food available for purchase, and pets are welcome, so long as they are well behaved and on a leash. Admission will be free, but contract tracing information will be collected.
Being part of this type of function offers a way for a crafter or artisan to showcase their work, and having a stack of professional Business Cards at the ready will make it easy for them to share their contact information with potential customers.
