This March, the kids who participate in a special day of activities will be making some new furry, feathered and scaly friends.
The Calgary Humane Society will be running a day camp that will introduce campers to an assortment of animals that share their world. It will be led by qualified staff, and parents can choose to register their child for one day or more. Each day will have its own theme.
During the sessions, the kids will play games, make crafts and get to know some new friends, and they will also get to interact with a wide assortment of friendly animals. Proper pet care will be taught, and everyone will meet cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, reptiles and many others. The sessions will run from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm, and before and after care will not be offered. There are enough spots for 10 kids in each class.

The Calgary Humane Society, which can be found at 4455 110 Avenue Southeast, will be welcoming kids for its PD Day Camp starting on March 10th, with further dates available in March, May and June. Registration is $59.73, including taxes and fees, and can be completed through Eventbrite.
