Calgary fundraiser to help bring back a smile

A grassroots-level fundraising event is scheduled for a Calgary venue, and it will help to put a big smile back on the face of a local resident.

Due to an accident during a soccer game, Bridget is facing some huge dental bills, and the community has been asked to show support for an event that may help to ease this cost. As it will be helping to pay for care for teeth, the event will have a tooth fairy theme, with it being titled Operation Tooth Fairy.

The gathering will see guests treated to snacks and beverages, and music will be in the mix as well. Everyone can enjoy playing the games while they make friends and meet new people, and a silent auction and even split draw are both in the works. Everyone is asked to dress comfortably, and the guest list is restricted to those at least 18 years old.

To help make the function a success, the organizers are hoping the community will be generous in its support. Anyone who would like to donate Corporate Gifts or other items for the auction is asked to contact tmarr@shaw.ca to discuss this further.

This opportunity for Calgary residents to help put a big smile back on Bridget’s face will kick off at 6:00 pm on November 16th. Bankview Community Hall will be the location for the fundraiser.
