Ranunculus, or “Persian buttercups”, are colourful plants that are very popular in the floral industry, and a Calgary class will make them the centrepoint of some handcrafted bouquets.
Flowers by Jane has organized a floral design class to be held at The Loft, and it will be an in-person session. Running for one and a half hours, the ticket price covers the cost of the flowers as well as a sweet treat.
The facilitator will walk the attendees through the creation of their bouquet, and along with the ranunculus, a variety of other flowers will be provided. Participants will be served their choice of a raspberry mousse cake or a raspberry cheesecake, and these will be supplied by Yum Bakery. Gluten free options are on offer as well. Everyone can bring their own vase or purchase one from the organizers, and can indicate their preference when they place their ticket order. A flower upgrade is available.

This combination of ranunculus and raspberry or blueberry baked treats will be offered on May 1st. The Loft is located at Calgary Farmer's Market West.
