Calgary beer fans who would like to treat themselves to a deep dive into some offerings from Belgium will soon be able to do so, thanks to an event planned for a local venue.
Rocky Mountain Wine, Spirits and Beer has plans in the works for an activity that will introduce beers from Belgium, and its listing explained that it can be a fun way for those who are new to craft beer to get their feet wet. It may also be enjoyed by seasoned enthusiasts, and tickets for the session are $31.15 each.
The facilitator for the activity will guide the group through the history of brewing in Belgium and also what makes its beer stand apart. The unique techniques used will be on the slate for discussion, and there will be samples poured. Everyone can ask questions, and as the function is scheduled for late October, it will take place just in time for those preparing to host events during the upcoming holiday season.
