Expand the mind at the Body, Soul and Spirit Expo
The Calgary Body, Soul and Spirit Expo will take place at Stampede Park from April 20-22. Tickets are $12, or $25 for the weekend. The expo has been described by organisers as being a means of introducing to people the concept, ideas, ways and options of living life in our ever-changing world.
The expo will feature workshops, exhibits, and lectures. The lectures feature speakers from such fields as alternative health, mental health, or extrasensory perception. Some of the lectures will include:
• Psychic/medium, what is the difference? – Katrina Todd
• Self healing: the new health science – Carole Friesen
• Medicine of mind – Christine Dreissen
• Heath health – Delphine Saxinger
Vendors and exhibitors will include a variety of professionals such as card readers, massage therapists, reiki readers, photographers, alternative health practitioners, and spa owners. Exhibitors pay from $825-$1520 for booth spaces depending on the size. They will most likely be in contact with Calgary printing companies to have such items as brochures, catalogues, postcards and business cards available to hand out to those who visit their booth.
Many people these days are interested in alternative views on health care. Many say they are tired of being over prescribed medications when often, with a little bit of searching, they feel there are suitable natural cures available. There is a huge market for those in those alternative fields and companies that cater to that market stand to gain a lot of business from this.
