Wilder Calgary Zoo will be opening its gates for two adults only evenings that will introduce the life and time of some of its resident feathered friends.
The Zoo will be hosting these special sneak peek events that will include after-hours visits to Penguin Plunge. Dinner will be covered as well, and everyone will walk away with lots of knowledge about these flightless water birds.
The ticket holders for the event can arrive starting at 3:00 pm to explore the zoo before the function begins in earnest. They will have exclusive access to the Penguin Plunge starting at 5:00 pm. The bar at Safari Lodge will be pouring drinks, and a four course meal will be served. The program will provide even more insight into penguins and their ecology, and the celebration will draw to a close at 9:00 pm. Two dates have been planned, and before they take their seat for the meal, each guest will receive a welcome drink.
To help meet its expenses, the Zoo runs a variety of fundraising initiatives, including its ZooCare Adoptions. Anyone who purchases an “adoption package”, which will be filled with information and promotional products, can pick it up when they arrive for their Wild After Hours experience.
The penguins at Wilder Calgary Zoo will be waddling their way into the hearts of those on the guest list for those special evenings. They are set for May 2nd and May 16th.
