April showers bring May flowers, and in Calgary, they will also bring an event planned with the scaly set in mind.
The Western Canadian Reptile Expo will welcome one and all at the Acadia Recreation Complex. As well as the reptiles amphibians and other companion animals, the function will also provide pant fans with an area to call their own.
The family friendly event will bring vendors and other suppliers of food, habitats and an assortment of gear that may be helpful in caring for an exotic pet. Breeders will be on hand, and those with botanical interest can enjoy viewing the plant displays and shopping for some new “green friends” to bring home. Information about conservation efforts and education about animal care are on the agenda, and there will also be costumed characters strolling through the crowd and posing for photo ops. Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door.
An expo brings vendors together with those who are ready to buy, and it may also help them to expand their customer base. Business Cards make it quick to share contact details, leaving more time for conversation and connection.
The Western Canadian Reptile Expo is set to open on April 18th and draw to a close on April 19th. It will run from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.
