Calgary welcomes indigenous public safety event

The registration system is now open for a symposium that will address public safety from a First Nations perspective.

The 2025 Indigenous Public Safety Conference is on the way for Calgary, and it will take place in late October at The Best Western Premier Calgary Plaza Hotel and Conference Centre. The registration price sits at $161.08, which includes fees and taxes, and the organizers hope it will offer lots of value to all of its delegates.

Emergency responders, fire safety professionals and community leaders will be coming in from across the country, and there will be a variety of workshops and speaker sessions to attend. Six focused topic streams will be on offer to choose from, and a trade show area is in the works too. There will be opportunities for cultural exchange, and everyone will walk away with practical skills they can use. Lunch, as well as coffee and tea, are included.
