Calgary fundraiser to support inclusion initiatives
People can often achieve great heights if given the chance to show what they can do, and a Calgary event is set to help make that happen.
Steps to Inclusion, which will be a fundraising soiree, will help make sure everyone gets a seat at the table. It will highlight the value of inclusion, and the host for the occasion will be John Fluevog Shoes Calgary.
The guests at the gathering will be treated to music and drinks, and while they enjoy themselves, they will be able to do some shoe shopping. Fifty percent of the proceeds from sales made during the event will be donated to Variety-The Children's Charity of Alberta, which is currently running six programs that work to make sure kids living with a disability or who have special needs feel included in their community. Each ticket grants the bearer entry as well as one drink and appetizers, and along with the shoes, socks and accessories will be available for purchase.
