Learn the basics of branding

The Young Women of Influence are presenting the seminar "Branding Basics" at the Westin Calgary Hotel on March 15 from 5:30-7:30 pm. Tickets are $15.

The seminar will be presented by Kara Claypool of Jugo Juice. Each person attending will receive a gift bag and will be eligible to win door prizes. In addition, there will be wine and hors d'oeuvres. The seminar will discuss branding tips for business owners.

Branding is one of the most important things to consider when you own a business and want people to discover you products and/or services. If you want customers to keep coming back to you, you need to create some sort of brand loyalty. Branding is based on the quality of your products or services, not just a logo as some seem to think. Your brand describes who you are and what people can expect to receive by doing business with you. As Young Women of Influence say, "brands are created in the mind."
