Fans of “Antiques Roadshow” who would like to enjoy a similar experience may want to take part in an event that is on the way for Calgary.
Local residents who have a cherished piece of jewellery they would like to know more about are invited to attend the Treasure or Trinkets jewellery identification and cleaning event. cSPACE - Madra Loop: RGO Treehouse will be its location, and it will run for five hours in early June.
The function will see a panel of expert jewellers lend their knowledge to the occasion, and each piece that is brought in will be assessed and cleaned. Whether an item is valuable or not, it may still have a story, and this background will be shared. A donation of $10.00 has been requested, and while no official appraisals will be provided, it can still be a fun way to find out if a piece is a trinket or treasure.
Many people have antiques and collectibles that they would like to learn more about. Companies that supply appraisals and other services can order Business Cards from local business card printing companies.
