Calgary class covers wine tasting for newbies
Those who have wished that they knew more about “the fruit of the vine” may want to secure their seat in a Calgary session that will help them become more knowledgeable when it comes to the world of wine.
The Intro to Wine Tastings session planned for the University District location of Market Wines will be offering newbie wine fans an opportunity to get their feet wet, and it will be a welcoming experience that is intended to be fun and casual. It will run for two hours, and tickets start at $42.00 each.
The session will introduce a flight of six different wines to sample, and the facilitator will walk them through the art of tasting them all. The basics of wine production and laws will be discussed, and everyone will be encouraged to ask any questions they have. Individual charcuteries will be provided so everyone can graze while they learn, and a 15% discount offer can be accessed on any wine purchased following the session.
Ticket holders are asked to arrive a bit early so they can get settled in. Tasting glasses and other custom drinkware may be used at events like this, and can be ordered from local printing services companies.
The Intro to Wine Tastings session will be on offer on January 15th. It will run from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm.
