Calgary hosts First Nations educators event

An educators’ conference aimed at the First Nations community has been set for a Calgary venue, offering three days for learning and making connections.

Hosted at Grey Eagle Resort and Casino, the First Nations Educators Conference is now in its seventh year, and it is hosted by the Tsuut'ina Nation along with the Indigenous Knowledge & Wisdom Centre.

The activity will be filled with chances to learn, collaborate, and connect, and several keynote speakers will address the crowd. There will also be hands-on workshops and other breakout sessions, and everyone will be encouraged to develop their own innovative learning strategies. Teachers, support staff and administrators are all welcome to register, and the goal is for the delegates to all walk away with a set of tools they can use to empower their students and community.

A group registration option is available for groups of 10 or more. Light refreshments, as well as lunch and breakfast, are included in the registration fee.

Conferences and symposiums tend to compress a lot of learning into a relatively short amount of time. Companies that prepare Letterheads and other custom documents can often prove to be valuable partners to those planning a large event.

The 2026 First Nations Educators Conference will run from Tuesday, February 3 to Thursday, February 5. The venue is located at 3777 Grey Eagle Drive.
