The number of cyclists in Calgary has been on the rise, and they recently had a chance to come out and learn more about their sport, chat with others who share their passion, and see the latest in equipment.
The First ever Calgary Bike Show took place recently in the Big 4 Building, which is part of Stampede Park. According to event organizer Peter Hockenhull, one of the main goals for the expo was to bring together many different types of bikers – whether they ride for pleasure, competition or just to get around the city.
The bikes on display ranged from BMX style to mountain bikes and much more. There were spin classes and BMX demonstrations, and many different manufacturers had representatives on hand to show their wares and answer questions from the crowd.
Members of cycling organizations, touring groups, and those interested in advocacy had also set up displays outlining who they are and what they do.
For those who were looking to get their kids interested in cycling, Striders Run Bikes had set up a special hands-on style display. A banner printing company can Print Banners, signage, and even flags that can be set up to catch people’s interest and encourage them to come over and find out more.
There was no charge for admission to the event.Get a Free Quote for Banners Get a Free Quote for Print
