Calgary event to support cancer foundation

Cancer is a group of diseases that touches the lives of many Calgarians, and those who attend an upcoming fundraiser that has been planned for the city will help to support the search for new and improved treatments.

The second annual Mustache Bash has been organized by the Patrol Foundation, and the proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Alberta Cancer Foundation. The foundation has set a goal of raising $100,000 through its activities during November.

The gala, which is being presented by Trickle Creek and Stikeman Elliott, will be taking place at The Pioneer in Southwest Calgary. Live music will keep the crowd on its feet dancing, and signature cocktails will be poured. There will be other fun on the agenda as well, and the suggested dress is black tie.

Tickets for this special soiree are $40.00 each, and additional fees and taxes may be applied if they are purchased online. Donations will also be welcome, and will help the group reach its fundraising goal. A formal occasion may call for sumptuous customized decor, and this may be sourced from a local printing services provider.

The Patrol Foundation has scheduled its signature Mustache Bash on Saturday, November 23rd. The doors will open at 8:00 pm, and at the time of writing, RSVPs were still being accepted.
