Event planner training session on the way in Calgary

Businesspeople and those who need to plan events for their company or organization but aren’t sure where to start are invited to attend a workshop that will equip them with the fundamentals of how to organize a function.

The course will provide hands-on training and support, as well as an opportunity to meet and network with other people who plan events to promote their business. They will also receive a workbook that they can use to help them in their task of organizing business or fundraising functions. A company that provides binding services will be able to produce items such as this. Tea and light snacks will be served.

After the initial intensive session, there will be monthly meetings where a different topic will be discussed each week. The participants can also access the organizer’s website to sign up for monthly newsletters, further training, and other activities.

The face2face: Event Planning Fundamentals session has been organized by Candy Academy of Event Management + Promotions & Breakaway Strategies Present. It will be held on January 27 at the Community Spaces: Pine Studio which can be found at 1709 8th Ave NE in Calgary, and a registration fee of $78 will be charged to each person who takes part.

More information about the training workshop and a chance register is available on the Candy Academy of Event Management's website.
