Another year is in full swing, and that means a local not-for-profit organization that speaks for those who can’t speak for themselves has new campaigns open to sponsors.
The Calgary Humane Society is seeking sponsors for a variety of activities that it has in the works for the upcoming year. There are various ways to lend a hand, and the events that are on the agenda tend to attract a large crowd.
The Society’s schedule of signature events starts with the Dog Jog, which can accommodate up to 600 animal advocates along with her canine companions. Cocktails for Critters also attracts hundreds of attendees, and Giving Tuesday, which takes place in December, is one of its most important funding and awareness raisers. Home for the Holidays will wrap up the schedule for 2026.
Along with the opportunity to sponsor an event, the organization offers group volunteer opportunities that may be a good fit for a business looking for a meaningful team building activity. Event planners often prepare packets of information to distribute to potential sponsors that outline the benefits of signing on, and they may include full colour materials prepared by a brochure printing company.
The Calgary Humane Society has issued a call to the area’s corporate community seeking sponsorships as well as helping hands. More information about how to get involved can be obtained from the Society’s website.
