A Calgary event that will take over a local venue this May will welcome amateur rockhounds and lapidarists alike, and it will be a chance for them to score some special finds.
The 64th annual Calgary Rock and Lapidary Club Rock and Mineral Show will soon open its doors to the public, and once again, Vivo For Healthier Generations has been chosen to serve as the venue for the celebration. It will offer the atmosphere of a pop-up market, and the list of exhibitors is extensive.
The ticket holders for the occasion will be able to shop for everything from rocks to precious stones, and fossils and other items will also be in the mix. Everyone can meet the vendors in person and ask any questions they have, and both serious and casual collectors alike may find plenty to talk about.
At least 50 sellers are expected to be on site, and they will be joined by a silent auction, live demonstrations, door prize draws, and more.
