Caring for house plants is about to get a lot easier thanks to an upcoming Calgary class.
Calgary’s newest plant parents are invited to sit in on a workshop that will cover the basics of caring for their green friends. It will include a chance to gain some hands-on experience, and when they leave for home, everyone will be able to take a potted plant along with them.
The Houseplant Care 101 session will cover an assortment of topics, and the information shared may be helpful when it comes to giving a plant lots of TLC. The basics of soil preparation and selecting which type is best will be covered, and choosing the best species and cultivar for a location in a home will be discussed. Pet-friendly options and watering tips will be provided. Everyone will learn how to repot a plant when it needs a larger home, and there will be time to ask questions. While it will be aimed at the beginner, all skill levels may find the session helpful.
When preparing to deliver a workshop or other learning activity, organizers may require an assortment of Print services. A brochure printing company can supply an assortment of options.
Spruce It Up Garden Centre will help new houseplant parents hit the ground running with its Houseplant Care 101 class on September 12th. The registration fee is $54.58 when purchased through its online listing.
