Calgary members of the Western Canadian Rail & Transportation Club will keep the holiday fun rolling with a networking mixer aimed at industry insiders.
The organization has set the date for a night of networking with its Rolling Into Winter – Ugly Christmas Sweater Networking Event. It is headed for The Rooftop YYC, and only 100 tickets are available.
The festive mixer will see attendees mingle and exchange Business Cards, and everyone is encouraged to enter the spirit of the celebration by wearing their ugliest, itchiest holiday sweater. Prizes will be awarded to the individual with the most unattractive garb, and there will also be raffle draws and giveaways.
Along with the chance to get to know one another and build connections, the participants will be treated to an assortment of bites and sips to enjoy. It will run for four hours, and the doors will open at 5:00 pm.
To help make the function a success, the planners have put out a call to local companies on the hunt for an opportunity to sponsor a holiday event. Anyone interested can contact the Western Canadian Rail & Transportation Club.
The Rolling Into Winter – Ugly Christmas Sweater Networking Event is scheduled for December 11th, and at the time of writing, tickets are still available. They can be reserved through its Eventbrite listing, and they are priced at $25.00 each.
