The Calgary Chapter of the Parrothead Club supplies its membership with lots of opportunities to socialize, and it will be heading to one of the city’s golf courses for an afternoon of outdoor fun.
Both Club members and non-members alike can register for its Annual Golf Tournament, and Wingfield Golf Course will host the occasion. It will boast a tropical theme, and everyone who attends is encouraged to fully enter the spirit of the celebration.
The registrants are encouraged to wear their favourite tropical-themed attire, and they can also decorate their cart if they wish. The play will follow a nine-hole, best ball format and the use of a powered cart, access to the practice range, welcome gifts and dinner are all on the agenda. Skill testing competitions have been planned, and while they enjoy the experience, the golfers will be doing a good turn for Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids, which will be the charity of choice for the tourney.
Golf outings can be both fun and effective fundraisers, and they tend to provide lots of opportunities for networking. Players may bring along Business Cards to exchange so it will be simple to share their contact details.
Calgary’s Parrot Head Club will be bringing an afternoon of camaraderie out on the golf course on September 12th. The first tee time will be 2:00 pm.
