This March, a Calgary event will bring a taste of Ireland to Calgary, and it will offer an immersive experience to all of its guests.
The Irish Cultural Center will be welcoming ticket holders for its Marquee event, which has been dubbed “A Green Tie Affair”. The host for the affair will be the Irish Cultural Society of Calgary, and the dress code will be semi-formal.
The evening will open with a cocktail hour mixer, and then it will be time for the ticket holders to enjoy their dinner. The meal will be followed by a live performance by Desire to Rock, and everyone can hit the dance floor. The music will keep on going until the function wraps up at 11:30 pm. A prize draw is in the works , and the winner will receive a travel voucher. Anyone who would like to be seated as a group or has special dietary restrictions is asked to indicate this when they reserve their pass for the night.
In honour of St. Patrick’s Day, any communities will be hosting Irish-themed events during the month of March. Poster printing companies can prepare a wide selection of “green” decor for an activity.
The Green Tie Affair will bring a taste of Ireland to Calgary on March 7th. The doors will open at 5:30 pm. Tickets start at $91.86, which includes taxes and fees.
