Calgary venue offers tree-themed fun

Learning can be a lot of fun, especially when parents and children do so together, and a Calgary venue has an activity in the works that will offer this type of family experience.

The Confluence provides a variety of programming for the local community, and its Family Fun Hour June session will be all about trees and the role they play in the world. It is suitable for toddlers up to age 11.

The activity will give the families an opportunity to engage in hands-on learning, and they will be encouraged to play and create together. Trees will be incorporated into the craft projects and other fun in the works. It will be held outdoors, and parents must remain with their child at all times.

Special, nature-themed activities like this can make learning a lot of fun. Copies of any handouts and other materials that are required for such events can be crafted by local Stationery printers.

The Family Fun Hour: T is for Tree session will be on offer on Sunday, June 22nd at The Confluence Garden from 1pm to 2pm. Tickets for the workshop, as well as the other instalments in the series, can be purchased through The Confluence’s website. Tickets start at $15.00 for adults and $5.00 per child. Infants aged three and under may participate free of charge.
