The Foothills Orchid Society has cordially invited one and all to attend a celebration of these popular plants.
Everyone, whether they are a devoted orchidophile or are just getting started, will be able to learn about the care and culture of these flowers at the upcoming Calgary Orchid Show. It had to be postponed in 2021 due to the Covid pandemic, but its organizers have explained they are pleased to be able to bring it back in 2022.
The function, which will be held at The Deerfoot Inn and Casino, will be filled with learning opportunities for plant lovers, as well as displays and a judged show. The society will have personnel on hand to accept membership registrations on site, and vendors will be setting up shop in the sales area. It will be the largest event of its kind planned for the city this year, and other orchid societies will be taking part as well.

The 2022 Orchids for Everyone show and sale is set to add some extra beauty to the city on May 28th and 29th. More updates will be added to its event listing as they become available.
