Calgary presentation to explore government procurement process

The Canadian federal government requires a wide assortment of products and materials in its day to day operations, and a Calgary event may help to demystify the procurement process for entrepreneurs.

Kris Ruiter will be sharing his expertise in the field of federal government procurement during a workshop planned for mid-January, and it will be hosted at Intrinsic Innovations. As it will also include a networking session, it will offer even more value to the attendees, and it is free to reserve a general admission spot.

The function will explore the procurement process for Calgary-based entrepreneurs hoping to land a contract with the government, and it is estimated that this market may be as high as $26 billion dollars every year. Ruiter, the Western Region manager for Procurement Assistance Canada of Public Services and Procurement Canada, will provide information and actionable tips for accessing these opportunities. The presentation will run for half an hour, and the attendees are welcome to network before and after.

A corporate mixer or similar style event may be a good opportunity to exchange Business Cards and other self marketing materials. These can be prepared by area business card printing companies.

The Demystifying Federal Government Procurement for Entrepreneurs session is on the way for January 19th. The networking will commence at 9:00 am, and the presentation itself will start at 9:30 am.
