Calgary kids who enjoy life’s spooky side will have the opportunity to create a haunted attraction at an upcoming summer camp.
The Haunted Hallows Day Camp will give kids from the ages of 5 to 15 the chance to enjoy an assortment of spine-tingling fun. The camp will combine the experience of developing a haunted attraction with learning practical skills, including entrepreneurship.
The agenda for the campers will incorporate everything from prop and set design to character development, with everyone learning some basic construction skills. The art of applying special effects makeup will be taught, and costuming is also on the agenda. Customer service and the fundamentals of crowd control and emergency procedures will be discussed, and several guest speakers have been booked. Full supervision will be provided, and the registration fee is $425.00.
The organizers of the camp have explained they may be able to accommodate campers with special needs, including those who require a support worker or other aide. A brochure printing company can prepare packets of information for parents of kids registered for an activity that give them additional details.
Camp Haunted Hollows will be welcoming Calgary kids who appreciate life’s spooky side starting on July 8th. It will be held at 14660 Parkland Boulevard SE, and with the final date being July 12th.
