Calgary festival to be full of light and sound

In conjunction with Bison Transport and several other community-minded corporate partners, the inaugural Holiday in the Park Christmas Light Festival will soon be presented to the city.

This Calgary event, which the organizers hope will quickly become a local tradition, will be held in Heritage Park. It will be an activity geared to every age group, and as donations of materials, gifts in kind and other support have come in from all access Alberta, it will be a celebration that will bring the whole province together.

Those who attend the festivities will be treated to displays full of antique décor, as well as modern touches, and one of the focal points will be a 75-year-old barn that will provide a backdrop for Santa. The function will be up and running for 15 days, and the organizers have put out a call to the city seeking volunteers, as assistance is needed for the occasion.

When making plans for a brand-new event, organizers can count on local Print shops to provide them with everything from an eye-catching Logo Design to gifts to present to the sponsors who helped make it possible.

The inaugural Holiday in the Park Light Festival will welcome the world on various dates from November 28th to December 31st. Its website offers links to purchase tickets, volunteer or learn more about the festivities.
