Calgary evening explores unique wine pairing

Fans of fast food in Calgary who also enjoy a glass of wine with their meal may want to sign up for a tasting session with a twist that will be on offer this February.

Market Wines - University District has organized a whimsical workshop for wine lovers that will explore a pairing of Big Macs and Burgundy wine.

The attendees in the casual class will find out how Burgundy wines can pair well with the iconic burger. It will offer an opportunity to experience this “comfort food” pairing for themselves, and both Burgundy’s Pinot Noir and Chardonnay will be on the menu. The ticket holders are asked to arrive a few minutes early, and to thank the participants for coming out, they will be able to access a discount on any wines they purchase after the function has drawn to a close.

Tasting events may attract a lot of attention from local foodies. Organizers can order special glasses and other Drinkware from local printers that prepare custom Corporate Gifts.

The Big Macs and Burgundy tasting session will be held on Friday, February 13th. It will be on offer at 4109 University Avenue Northwest, starting at 6:30 pm. Tickets to join the fun, which are available via Eventbrite, start at $68.25, and the session will run for two hours.
