Calgary's craft beer fans are about to be treated to a dandy good time when they attend a celebration that will be full of beer-related fun this fall.
Those age 18 and up are on the guest list for Dandyfest, which is being presented by The Dandy Brewing Company. It will showcase beers crafted by area breweries, as well as ones from Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Dunham, and there will be lots on tap to enjoy.
The ticket holders for the function will be able to access full-sized pours of any beer that catches their eye, and while they do, they will be treated to entertainment on two stages. At least 10 bands will be performing. Local artists have been invited to get involved as well, and there will be some special surprise guests in the mix too. The festivities will kick off at 12:00 pm and the party will continue until 10:00 pm. Non-alcoholic beer, soft drinks and other beverages will be provided to those who prefer not to consume any alcohol.
Craft breweries provide unique beverage options for suds lovers, and a festival or other tasting event gives the public an easy way to discover some new drinks. Souvenir glasses and other Corporate Gifts will be available for such an activity at area printers.
