With spring now well underway, party season is fast approaching, and in Calgary, those who enjoy cocktails in the sun will have the opportunity to learn some new mixology tricks for their next soiree.
The team at Confluence Distilling will be supplying a taste of the tropics with its Tiki Cocktail Class, which will be offered in mid-July. It will celebrate National Daiquiri Day, and tickets are $95.00 each.
The attendees in the session will be learning how to craft tropical themed drinks that are served in tiki bars, and there will be plenty of time for swapping stories and socializing. Everyone will have the chance to learn more about the history of the drinks, and as alcohol will be served, the event is for adults only. The ticket holders will all be able to make three drinks to enjoy, and to encourage them to keep on “mixing” at home, sets of dried garnishes will be distributed.
Learning a new skill or recipe can be enjoyable. Ingredient lists, tasting glasses, and small Promotional Products such as branded Shot Glasses can be crafted for a workshop by a local printing services company.
