A British band known for their genre-defying sound are soon set to perform live in concert in Perth.
North Perth’s celebrated music venue the Rosemount Hotel will be presenting the iconic English indie group Pop Will Eat Itself in September. Clubs, hotels and other types of venues often look to professional printing services to create promotional material like Flyers and Posters to advertise the act performing in their event space.
Known colloquially as “The Poppies”, or PWEI by their fans and the music press, the band formed in Stourbridge in England’s West Midlands back in 1986. While they were originally labelled a Grebo music band, the group altered their style by including samples and became an industrial indie outfit. Over time, they have earned acclaim for playing genre-mixing music and having a down-to-earth attitude regarding their live abilities.
While they want to entertain and sound great, the group have always maintained that they do not claim to be professional musicians. The upcoming performance in Perth will allow the band’s fans in Wangara and other suburbs to hear them play the whole of their second release, the album “This Is the Day...This Is the Hour...This Is This!”, plus an encore packed with tracks from their back catalogue.
Pop Will Eat Itself will play the Rosemount Hotel, located at 459 Fitzgerald Street in North Perth, on Tuesday, September 6.Get a Free Quote for Posters Get a Free Quote for Flyers
