A yearly celebration of local agriculture that offers a wide range of entertainment for all ages is arriving within easy reach of Wangara.
Residents of the area can attend a two-day event taking place at one of its neighbouring suburbs this spring. The 2026 edition of the Wanneroo Show is back by popular demand and promises activities, exhibits, fun rides, fireworks and more.
Those attending can encounter fresh produce at the Margaret Cockman Pavilion from local growers alongside crafts, art, floral and cooking entries from the community. There will also be hand-selected food sellers on site like Road Show Kebabs, Goo Goo Dumplings and Chips on a Stick.
Vendors will be selling a range of products over the course of the two days, like beauty items from Pure Romance by Cassie and children’s collectables from R’Amazing Toys. Retailers attending local events like this often order contact cards from business card printing services, which they can share with new customers.
The first ever Wanneroo Agricultural show opened in 1909. Ever since, it has showcased horticultural, agricultural and other associated sectors in the region, and has become the largest show of its kind, as well as the premier community event for Wanneroo.
The Wanneroo Show will now be held on Friday, November 13 and Saturday, November 14 at the Wanneroo Showgrounds. On Friday, the event opens at 4 pm and closes at 10 pm, and on Saturday, it runs between 9 am and 10 pm.
