An acclaimed American comic has announced he will be performing live for Western Australian audiences.
As part of his first ever tour of Australia, US stand-up comedian Shane Gillis will be taking to the stage at Mount Lawley’s Astor Theatre, allowing fans from Wangara, Welshpool and other nearby areas to see him perform live. Theatres and clubs hosting comedy shows from international acts often use professional flyer printing services to create branded leaflets showcasing comics to members of the public.
In 2016, Gillis won the award of “Philly’s Funniest” at the Helium Comedy Festival. He then went on to be nominated as the “Up Next Comic” in San Francisco at the 2019 edition of Comedy Central’s Clusterfest. The comedian, who currently operates out of New York City, was also named a “New Face” in Canada at Montreal’s world-famous Just for Laughs Comedy Festival.
The multi-talented comedian also writes and performs podcasts while taking part in popular online shows and sketch series. The comic is part of “Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast” and is a regular guest on multiple popular podcasts, like The Joe Rogan Experience and The Bonfire.
Shane Gillis will now be on stage at the Astor Theatre Perth located at 659 Beaufort Street in Mount Lawley Western Australia on Thursday, August 11. The show will begin at 7.15 pm and end at 10.30 pm.
