A world-famous rock group from America will be playing a live set in Perth later this year.
Rock fans around Wangara and other suburbs of the city will soon get the chance to see US band The Killers in concert as they visit Perth as part of their upcoming tour of Australia. The new string of concert dates has been arranged to celebrate the band’s seventh album recording titled ‘Pressure Machine’.
The 2021 album was released this year in March as a deluxe expanded edition and the new tour will give the group an opportunity to introduce Australian audiences to some of this additional material. Tour organisers often look to professional printing services for a diverse range of promotional material like Posters, Banners and Flyers to advertise events across the country.
The band began in Las Vegas back in 2001 and was formed by vocalist, keyboard and bass player, Brandon Flowers, and lead guitarist Dave Keuning. The name of the group was inspired by a logo featured on a bass drum being played by a fictitious group in one of New Order’s music videos for a song called ‘Crystal’.
Largely considered to be one of the 21st century’s biggest rock bands, The Killers have sold over 28 million records. They are now set to play the RAC Arena located at 700 Wellington Street in Perth on Tuesday, December 6.
