A new study by Flight Centre has ranked Australian suburbs based on how well-travelled their residents are, with Wangara shown to be an area of considerable wanderlust.
The results of the report concluded that the wealthy suburb of North Sydney (postcode 2060) hosts the best-travelled residents. People in this area have purchased the highest number of holidays. They also demonstrated the maximum spending trends while travelling. Britain is the favourite destination for these residents, whereas Singapore and Italy are next on the list.
Wangara residents were found to be the third biggest travellers and the fourth biggest spenders. The top 10 rankings of Australian suburbs based on the report were as follows:

Other findings include that Victorians travel more frequently than New South Welshman, while Tasmanians travel the least. The Flight Centre study also showed that the most well-travelled Australian residents are aged 25-29, and the peak travel period is December.
