Retro Rewind comes to Wanneroo

Wangara residents will be among many invited to enjoy the events presented as part of Retro Rewind 2020.

Billed as ‘non-stop fun and nostalgia’, the day will be filled with events to suit all ages and will include the ever-popular Vintage Collective Markets. Everything retro from hot rods and fashion to music will be found at the Retro Rewind, according to Mayor Tracey Roberts, who said it was a great day out for all the family, adding:

“As well as the wonderful retro-inspired attractions, families will be able to enjoy Yanchep National Park itself. It is a truly a beautiful feature of the City’s northern corridor and new growth following the December bushfires makes Yanchep Park a perfect backdrop for such a vibrant and lively event.”

Headlining the entertainment programme will be The Milford Street Shakers, a popular Perth-based nine-piece band who are set to capture the musical memories of the 1950s-70s. Classic songs from artists such as Aretha Franklin, Etta James and James Brown will be among their extensive repertoire. Supporting the band will be Randa and The Soul Kingdom with their deep funk dance-inducing music.

Banner printing is often undertaken to ensure that venues hosting events such as this are highly visible to all potential attendees.

There will be no entry fees charged to Yanchep National Park during the staging of Retro Rewind, which will be held on February 22.
