Perth cricket fans gearing up for the Ashes

Cricket fans from Wangara will need to get in quick if they want to secure tickets for this year's Ashes test in Perth.

The match against England, which is being held at the WACA ground, is close to selling out for its first two days. Tickets are still available for later days but fans who place these orders do risk missing out if the match doesn't go the distance.

The Perth match will be the third in the series, which is often crucial in determining the series winner. With the Australian team struggling in the current UK series, supporters will be hoping that home soil will give the Australians an advantage; England haven’t won at the WACA ground for 35 years.

Fans will also hope to see young Western Australian star Ashton Agar, who made a stunning debut in the first test in England, playing for the national team at home.

Banner printing is a great way of getting behind the team, and Banners with clever slogans often get shown on television coverage, adding a bit of extra fun to the day.

Supporters who do not manage to get tickets, and those who prefer the shorter form of the game, might like to opt for the one-day match between the two sides, which will be played at the ground on Friday January 24th, 2014.

The Perth test takes place from Friday December 13th to Tuesday December 17th. For more information or to book tickets, visit the Western Australian Cricket Association website.
