Business owners from Wangara and around the City of Wanneroo will be celebrating next month as the annual Business Award winners are announced.
The winners will be named at a gala dinner, which this year has a black and white theme and will include a three-course meal and entertainment from Perth-based group Proof.
There are 15 categories in this year’s awards for both companies and individuals, which have been judged by a panel of industry leaders.
Trophies will be given in a number of sectors, including tourism and hospitality and industrial business, and there will be accolades for small and homebased businesses, as well as larger firms.
The top awards will also be revealed with one local firm being named business of the year, and the entrepreneur thought to have made a big contribution to the business community being named Mayor’s Visionary Business Person.
The night is a chance to celebrate a successful year in business, but will also be a good networking opportunity to business owners might like to consider taking some Business Cards to the event in case they make a useful new contact.
