Entrepreneurs around Wanneroo will want to put a note in their diaries with the City of Wanneroo Business Awards taking place in November.
The awards were founded in 2003 and celebrate the success of companies around the city, including those in the suburb of Wangara. There are several categories, with special recognition for home-based businesses, small businesses, customer service excellence, innovation and new start-ups. There will also be a special award given to one individual businessperson believed to stand out in the city.
Winners at the ceremony will receive a certificate and a glass award, media coverage, and the right to use the award title on Stationery printing and promotional material for the following year.
The awards will be presented at a special dinner in Wanneroo on Friday November 22, starting at 7:00pm. As well as the chance to relax near the end of the year, and possibly celebrate winning a prize, the evening will also be a good time to network and build relationships with other local entrepreneurs. Professional business card printing is a must at these events and attendees should make sure their contact details are up to date.
Businesses interested in entering the awards need to include their business history and demonstrate how their company is growing and whether it is expanding or adding new products. Additional materials, such as company Brochures, can also be submitted to the judging panel.
