The dinosaur-themed attraction is currently being trialled in preparation for its planned opening to the public at the end of January. The community-based play space has been welcomed by Mayor Tracey Roberts, who said the City initiative had received overwhelming backing from local children and parents, and added:
“This is a wonderful addition to the Kingsway Regional Sporting Complex and will be a popular destination for families across the northern suburbs. We thank the Federal Government for its contribution to the funding of this project.”
Major attractions such as this have become popular features on brochure printing that promotes the local area.
Federal Government representative Senator Dean Smith stated that the Kingsway Aquatic Space located next to Dinosaur Park in Goal Way, Madley was great for all ages and gave kids and their parents a chance to connect in a relaxed, fun environment whilst also benefiting from a little recreation and sport.
A contribution of $300,000 was made by the Federal Government to make the play space, which includes fun water features, a reality.
Pushing a button activates the water features for 10 minutes at a time with re-activation available continuously during the play space’s opening hours.
