Demonstration of wireless technology at Wangara

The potential of wireless products is being shown at the iTech facilities in Wangara.

Focus Subsea, Aquip Systems and WFS Technologies are

moving forward together. They are showcasing Seatooth products at iTech which is within the suburb of Wangara in Perth. Booklet printing could be used to advertise future demonstrations of wireless technology at the site in question.

The wireless technology that is being displayed may be of help to companies which engage in working underwater. Monitoring systems have been designed to permit the flow assurance and the asset integrity maintenance necessary for increased production.

A Seatooth PipeLogger has the capacity to measure things such as vibration, leaks, flow, corrosion and internal temperature. These findings can be achieved without physically penetrating any of the walls of a pipe.

Putting the new items into operation could be a shrewd move in some circumstances because of the sediment which can make traditional methods of working under the sea awkward. Conventional techniques of installing equipment can rely on cameras. New solutions, like using a wireless inclinometer, can record tilt even when sediment is obscuring things.

The kind of innovation which uses wireless technology does not just have practical implications. This is because cost savings can be achieved through the adoption of the cutting edge technology. Resources do not have to be stretched because the use of minimal cabling is often a cost-effective strategy.
