Wine event incoming for Fremantle

Fremantle will soon host a programme of events designed with wine enthusiasts in mind.

Budding sommeliers and oenophiles in Fremantle will be able to enrol in the “Wine Essentials Course” which is taking place in the suburb this coming October. The course is run by the Wine Education Centre (WEC), which is the educational wing of the Wines of Western Australia. As a result, it is the premier provider of wine education for both trade and consumers in the largest state in the nation, and has been delivering quality wine education for over four decades.

Organisations and institutions offering luxury learning opportunities often employ high-end brochure printing services to design plush presentation materials to attract enrolees. Those participating in the course, which is priced at $385 per person, will attend four two-hour sessions over four weeks, with six different wines tasted every week.

The course price includes a copy of the ‘Essential Wine Tasting Guide’, a visit to either the Perth Hills or Swan Valley vineyard and food created at Habitué, a select restaurant in North Fremantle

The Wine Essentials Course - October 2023 will commence on Tuesday, October 17 at 6.30pm. It will mainly be held at Old Bridge Cellars, which can be found at 221 Queen Victoria Street in North Fremantle, although as mentioned, other venues will be visited during the course.

All who complete the course will be awarded a Certificate of Merit.
