A tour of Perth’s gin distilleries and bars will be run in December.
A recent upsurge in the popularity of gin has seen distilleries springing up around the city of Perth. The Gin Tour is designed for people who love gin and want to learn more about how the drink is made.
Participants will travel to the Swan Valley, onto Welshpool and then into Perth CBD where they will be able to taste test the popular spirit. As well as gin bars, the tour will also showcase some of Perth’s best distilleries, where people can get a snapshot of what happens during the process of making gin and learn a few of the secrets behind its distinctive taste from local gin experts.
All bus travel is included in the price of the tour. Participants can sample local gins from four of the distilleries and food will be provided at two of the venues. Organisers of events such as this may use brochure printing to promote and give information about products and services.
Gin is more popular now than it has been for more than a century. Originating in the middle ages, gin was invented as a herbal remedy and tonic and today it is one of the most widely distributed spirits, encompassing different styles, flavours and origins.
The Hidden Detours Gin Tour will run on December 22nd from 12:30pm until 6:15pm and the cost of the tour is $130 per person.
