Business owners in Welshpool are to get the chance to learn more about creating an effective online presence when the latest Business Breakfast comes to the area tomorrow.
The breakfast, which will be hosted by the Local Chambers of Commerce and Industry, will feature a talk by local member Ben Geoghegan, who specialises in helping his clients improve their websites.
Mr Geoghegan, who also manages a number of successful websites himself, will be discussing the ways in which business owners can make their websites more attractive to potential customers.
During the talk, he will be explaining how to attract customers to a website in the first place, how to provide the necessary information to help the customer make a decision, and how to use a website to encourage users to pay more for the products or services on offer.
He will also offer some tips on how to create a website that will bring leads and potential customers in by itself, leaving more time to focus on other aspects of business.
As well as the talk, a buffet breakfast and coffee will be provided, and the meeting will be a good opportunity to network with other entrepreneurs. Many are using local printing companies to prepare business card orders.
The breakfast meeting will take place tomorrow at the Ascot Quays Apartment Hotel on Ascot’s Great Eastern Highway. Its central location, just a short drive from Welshpool, makes it easy for local business owners to get involved.
The event starts at 7:20am and tickets are available through the Local Chambers website.
