Welshpool area to welcome comic legend

A globally famous comedian renowned for his hit sit-com will be returning to Perth this year with his brand-new show.

Welshpool comedy fans can see American comedy icon Jerry Seinfeld on stage this winter when he returns to Perth. June will see the stand-up sensation live in person at the capital’s celebrated RAC Arena for a single-night performance.

Renowned for his long-running popular TV show “Seinfeld” co-written with “Curb Your Enthusiasm” creator Larry David, the comic entered new territory this year. May will see him make his cinematic directorial debut in “Unfrosted”, which he also wrote and stars in. The film tells the origin story of Kellogg's breakfast treat, the Pop-Tart and Seinfeld plays cereal company worker Bob Cabana.

Film makers often work closely with expert poster printing services to create iconic one-sheets that feature the actors and themes of their creations to encourage cinemagoers to see them.

In 2020 Seinfeld released a stand-up special on Netflix after a 22-year hiatus from the comedy format. The same year saw him attend The New Yorker Festival where he discussed stand-up comedy on stage with actor and comedian Steve Martin.

Jerry Seinfeld will now be live at the RAC Arena on Saturday June 15. The show will start at 7.30 pm and the arena is situated at 700 Wellington Street in Perth.
