Two music legends will come together in a picturesque winery setting next year for an unforgettable night out.
Multiple Grammy Award winner Lionel Richie and Australian favourite John Farnham will perform a series of concerts across Australia next March, taking the stage with their own live bands.
Richie is touring Australia following a successful run of shows in America, where many reviewers said he sounded as good as he did 25 years ago. Farnham is a well-loved Australian icon and was recently voted the best Australian singer ever in a poll of musicians.
The concerts will no doubt include some popular tracks from both artists, such as Richie’s love song ‘Hello’ and Farnham’s anthem ‘You’re The Voice’.
While the two artists are used to filling stadiums, Welshpool residents can see them in the different setting of Sandalford Winery, one of Western Australia’s oldest wineries, just a short drive away in the Swan Valley.
The singers will be performing over the Labour Day holiday period, making it the perfect destination for a party to celebrate the long weekend.
As well as standard tickets, concertgoers can also book VIP packages that include food and a range of Sandalford wines. A VIP package includes a dress code, and a photograph of everyone in their finery would make a great memento of the event. Printing companies can make high quality prints of photographs to display at home, or even to turn into presents for family or friends.
The concert takes place on Sunday March 2 and tickets go on sale this week.
