A one-of-a-kind hard rock act is coming to Welshpool this winter.
Australia’s only tribute band dedicated to Rob Zombie are set to make a welcome return to Perth’s popular rock venue, the Badlands Bar – affectionately known as “the Batcave” – next month. The band, which call themselves Superbeast after the 1998 Zombie classic, will offer audience members from Welshpool and other suburbs a chance to enjoy an authentic rendition of a concert from the “Lord of Horror”. Venues hosting live music often rely on professional Print shops for advertising materials like Posters and Flyers.
Following on from their shows last year, the band are coming back to Perth to perform classic tracks from Rob Zombie’s back catalogue like “Thunderkiss ‘65”, “Black Sunshine”, “Living Dead Girl” and “Meet the Creeper”. Performance from Superbeast also include the colourful costumes and stage theatrics of typical Zombie show.
Inspired by science fiction and horror movies, Zombie’s hard rock is renowned for its outlandish lyrics, sampled snippets of film dialogue and crunching guitars. In 2000, the artist began directing movies of his own and, more recently, announced the upcoming release of his remake of hit TV show The Munsters, which will star his wife Sheri Moon Zombie as Lillian.
Superbeast will play at the Badlands Bar, located at 1/3 Aberdeen Street in Perth, on Saturday, August 6.
